We love to write about the towns and cities we visit throughout Britain as we visit as many football grounds as we can at all levels of the game. What we’re really interested in is “the insight football clubs give into the communities that surround them – the places themselves, their history, and most of all the people that make them tick – and keep them ticking over.” 1

We used to be ‘376 Miles’ but after nearly two years we felt this name no longer represented what we were writing - we began by thinking that we were going to write a football blog with a heavy Middlesbrough bias, only to realise that we preferred writing about the places that we visited rather than the football itself.

So, why not join us as we travel, to hear about the marvellous pies of Stockport County, the birdlife of Gateshead International Stadium or the moon over Mansfield Town.
